It is marked Pastoral on the back and was made by George Jones. The pretty plate depicts sheep grazing and a family in the background having a picnic. In the distance, far above is a castle overlooking the valley. The border has four cartouche's, containing two different sheep scenes, scrollwork and flowers. Absolutely gorgeous!
