Antique Blue & White Fruits and Flowers Stubbs Kent Transferware Plate covered tray some tears to the labelThis circa 1828 1830 blue and white transfer decorated Staffordshire dinner sized plate was made by Stubbs and Kent in the Longport area of Stoke on Trent. Also produced by Davenport and Joseph Stubbs. The pattern is titled "Fruits and Flowers" and depicts plump peaches and cherries on the face (center)with peonies and associated foliage, all of which are set against a stippled ground. The border of the plate is ornamented with 3 scrolling cartouches
