Domaine du Meix-Foulot 'Clos du Château de Montaigue Monopole' Mercurey 1er Cru, 2016 (1.5L) neipa boasting steepThis wine is 100% Pinot Noir from a single vineyard in Burgundy. Mercurey's growing season is typically long and dry, making for Burgundy with a bit more body. This bottling is no exception with stewed cherries, wild strawberries, earth and clove on the palette. A few more years of aging will reward you, but will open up with a quick decant as well. Pair with Oeufs en Meurette or Boeuf Bourguignon.
