Its leaves have a lovely purple red underside which brings a pop of colour to your home. The Alocasia is native to the Philippines so likes to be kept away from drafts and in a sunny spot. Light: Alocasias need bright, but indirect light. Direct sun will cause the leaves to burn, so avoid placing your Alocasia in a spot where it'll be exposed to direct sun
