His graceful and realistic portrayals of dog teams and landscapes are unmatched. Art is his life and Alaska, all of Alaska, has been his inspiration. He has completed the Iditarod twice and has been the official artist of the Iditarod since 1979. In 2004 he was inducted into the Iditarod Hall
