One of these vents ( right hand ) is actually the air intake for the engine ( raised up high so the car can be driven through deep water ) - the other vent is a dummy vent that was added just for symmetry

These brackets are fixed to the vehicle and the rear bumper attaches to it. The docking holes on the brackets can break when removing refitting the bumper but these brackets are an easy item to replace. This is for a Right side (offside drivers side in the UK).
