Worn with the P37 large and small packs. This is a set of 2 British Commonwealth P1937 L straps that have been blancoed green. Blanco was a compound used primarily by soldiers throughout the Commonwealth from 1880 onwards to clean and colour their equipment. By the middle of the war all soldiers would have blancoed their khaki webbing to colour KG3 (Khaki green N03)
