This is a salad or dessert sized plate depicting a group of people having a picnic along the banks of the river at Belvoir Castle. The grounds are lush, being landscaped with large trees, walkways and bridges as illustrated by H Fennell. The border is an intricate blend of Victorian scrollwork outlined by delicate
