It was inspired by the elegant but playful costumes in Venice the day before Lent begins. It's the Italian version of Mardi Gras. I dyed a quarter of the skein in purple and the rest of it in splashes of Burgundy Rose, Renaissance Blue, Lilac, and Eggplant. YARN BASE I dyed it on Squoosh DK, which is a soft and squishy yarn made of 100% extra fine superwash merino. It's great for hats, sweaters, shawls, and blankets. YARN FACTS
