An independent bottling of Mortlach single malt which has been matured for 25 years and bottled at 43% ABV. This expression was released as part of Gordon & MacPhail's Distillery labels series, and features a handsome retro label. Nose: Flamed orange peel, toasted barley, a touch of good old Cognac. Palate: Stewed blackberries and cooked apples, with a good whack of cinnamon thrown in. Subtle
