This brewery is considered one of the oldest operating breweries in Korea. At present, the 3rd generation in operation and 4th generation is learning to continue the legacy. This brewery is using organic rice grown by utilizing snails in the rice fields that help eliminates herbicides. Chungju was brewed with rice that was grown without using herbicides by utilizing a method of releasing snails
