1950's Tiffany & Co Diamond & Agate Turtle Brooch cut steel The formation of the mineralDATE: Mid Century, c. 1950 This charming Tiffany & Co brooch is modelled as a little turtle. Crafted in 18k gold, the turtle shell is set with a cabochon cut rhodochrosite agate, held in place by a diamond set gold grid. It's legs are set with diamonds also, with tiny little gold pommel details that create great movement and texture. The head is diamond set with striking sapphire cabochon eyes, a great contrast to the golden and neutral tones
