It's exceptionally well made, and the design is quite unlike anything we've seen before; the collar is made up of clover shaped links, with alternatin ivy leaf and pansy motifs, each one chased by hand. The locket itself features a rise at the centre in applied rose and yellow gold, within a border of yellow gold ivy leaves. Per the Victorian language of
