KRISTIN LAVRANSDATTER Hand Dyed on Squoosh DK - Splashed & Speckled Yarn sep22 The inspiration for this colorwayThis colorway was inspired by the main character in Sigrid Undset's wonderful trilogy. The novels are set in late medieval Norway. The main character, Kristin, makes a terrible mistake but goes on to do much good in spite of it. Like the character of Kristin, the yarn has a pleasing complexity to it. The colors include rose, peach, lilac, and purple speckles. YARN BASE I dyed this yarn on Squoosh DK, which is made of extra soft 100% superwash merino.
